On behalf of the Chairman of Veterinary Council of Tanzania and Secretariat of the Council, it is my pleasure and gratitude to welcome you to our website, which has been designed and developed with the main objective of providing the general public with what the Veterinary Council of Tanzania is doing with regards to its efforts to regulate the veterinary profession and improve animal health service delivery in the country.

It is my belief that the website will be more informative and educative to the Professionals and general public, through which various documents such as Veterinary Act (CAP 319) and its Regulations and Guidelines, are made easily available.

While executing our powers and core functions as provided for under Section 5(1) (2) of the Veterinary Act Cap.319 of the Laws of Tanzania, we are determined and remain committed to ensuring that our stakeholders and the general public are timely provided relevant information.
